Frequently Asked Questions
General
❓What what should I do, to be able to join the guild?
🔹 Familiarize yourself with our 👉 social policy and ensure you can adhere to it.
🔹 Make sure you are aware of 👉 crafting rules and ready to follow them.
🔹 Ask for invite
❓Who can invite me?
Guild member
Anyone in the guild can invite. You can /w anyone online and they can invite you with /ginvite command. Make sure to contact a player of your faction: only same faction can invite players who are not their BN friends.
Guild finder
Horde characters can get an invite through the guild finder. Downside of this method is that the invite is not instant, but then again - you can also pick it when it suits you.
Discord
If you were unable to reach anyone ingame, try our discord: there is always someone around and will be able to help you:

❓ May I bring alts to the guild?
Yes, you can bring as many alts as you want. There is only one condition: they should be active. When we hit population capacity inactive characters may be removed without prior warning after a month of inactivity.
❓ What are rules regarding activity?
There is no strict regulation, but when we hit population capacity we will start removing the players starting from those that were most inactive. Inactive character may become a purge victim after a month of inactivity.
❓ I just witnessed about 50 characters being kicked. What happened?
Those characters were inactive for more than a month and the guild just hit population cap. The inactive characters were removed to free space for new members.
❓ I am a part of political movement. Will I be treated with respect?
To keep our guild a welcoming space, we ask that you avoid politics or any sensitive topics that might divide opinions. Instead, focus on what unites us as WoW players: dungeons, raids, PvP, gearing, mount farming, and more. As long as you stay on topic and treat others with respect, the guild will have your back and protect you from any disrespect from other members.
❓ I have a disability and need some extra understanding and support from community, will I find it here?
Our guild is only a gaming community where members gather after work to play World of Warcraft. We are not professionally equipped or trained to provide specialized support for individuals with disabilities.
As a general guideline: if you are able to manage daily activities independently, you will likely find our environment workable. If you require ongoing assistance in your everyday life, our guild is not an appropriate fit, as we lack the capacity to offer that level of support.
For your best experience, we recommend seeking a community that is specifically structured to accommodate your needs. We genuinely wish you the best in finding the right group—and happy gaming out there.
❓How active is the guild?
We have 3 raid teams, that implies there is at least about 80 active members who come for raiding, and spend their time between the raids to prepare, earn gold, farm gear, dungeons, profession, other activities that support the raiding.
Beside raiders we have plenty social players. Some of them are former raiders, others are just players who prefer other activities than raiding.
In summary, we have quite a few members who log in regularly.
❓What are the typical online numbers?
That depends on many factors.
Starting with our target group: our raiders for big part are people with families, jobs kids, and usually can only log in into game after their work is done, on work days, in the evening - those are our peak hours.
Weekends many of us spend with families, but it does not drain the online completely: some people still can be around.
Deciding factors are also what yearly or raiding season we are talking about: summer usually is quite a low period, and start of raiding season is most peaked. The online vanishes slowly over time as bosses get killed, m+ rating hits soft cap, gear gets capped and general interest in content wanes.
To give more precise numbers, during start of season the online can peak close to 100, at the end of season in morning hours we still can see at least 5-7 people online.
❓What is voice discord activity like?
We are really not that kind of community where players are hanging out pointlessly in voice channels whole day, as may happen other places. Our members use voice channels mostly when they join to common activity: raid, dungeon, questing, talk through management questions. When you see someone on a voice channel it is likely because they are doing something together.
If you see someone alone in the channel especially with a very large timer - it's most likely someone who forgot to disconnect last night, or fell asleep on keyboard. Very unlikely they are waiting for you. But, who knows?
❓ There are some people on voice channel, is it okay to join them?
We encourage players joining together, so for most of the time - yes.
Raid channels are reserved for team raids. If you want to listen to raid, or watch raid stream in channel it is best to join before action begins and disconnect between the fights to not disturb the comms with notification about you leaving. While spectating the raid event please mute your microphone, and do not speak unless prompted not to disturb the flow of the raid.
If there are people sitting together with group of 2-5 people in a personal named channel (for instance Beygir's VC, or Room 1-3 channels): those are safe to join and say "hi" and ask to join the ongoing activity. It is considered polite not to pollute the comms if players need it for coordinating their tactics: keep conversation going, but have the sense of when you need to keep quiet.
Meeting Room channel usually reserved for players to discuss some private matter, its best not to connect to that channel without invitation.
Lounge is free for all.
Dungeons and Quests
❓ How active is the guild in mythic keys?
We do not have centralized Mythic+ event or guild groups. Our guild is leaning towards raiding more than keys.
However, with 3 raid teams we do need gear. Even though Midnight season 2 somewhat reduced the role of Mythic Keys dungeons in gearing, we still expect players to use it as one of the main gearing sources. You should be able to see quite a bit of activity at least early in the game.
Beside the raid gear factor, we also have quite a few Mythic Keys fans and hard pushers, who keep doing the mythic dungeons for fun and rewards until last season days.
❓ Do you have a Mythic Keys event?
No.
We had an attempt to host one, but with the schedule spots that we could spare it did not gather enough interest.
❓ How do I find a guild group for a dungeon?
On our discord server we have a section dedicated entirely for this purpose.
Here is how to utilize it:
🔹Join our discord server (UuYjG6SbZZ)
🔹Self assign group roles and dungeon difficulty and activity roles in #take-roles channel.
🔹Make sure the dungeon channels are not muted: when someone is on lookout for the role you have selected you will get a ping
🔹When you are forming a group, post a message to the channel, do not forget to tag the group roles that you need for your group: @Tank, @Dps, @Healer
Raiding
❓ What should I do to join raids?
Decide what level of raiding is suitable for you:
Normal/Heroic/Ahead of the Curve
If you do not want to dedicate to regular raids, or if your aspirations do not go beyond normal and heroic, our casual raids will be a best fit for you.
Casual raids are free-for all, and anyone can join without application. We appreciate if you can let us know ahead of your interest by signing up on the in-game calendar and then log in on our Casual raid evening and ask for invite - that's all.
Mythic/Cutting Edge
If you are looking for mythic raiding you should start by learning about our teams, and picking the one that suits you. Teams may have different raid days, distinct mindset, and own set of raider requirements. Do check current openings, but do not be limited by them.
After finding your path place an application if there is listing for your class, or contact recruiting officer for guidance on how to proceed if your class is not opened.
❓ Which team is better?
There is no better team. Each team has own mindset and aimed at different type of players.
❓ Do players switch teams?
The teams have their own distinct rosters and aspirations.
There is no process of promotion/demotion from one team to another.
When you choose a team - you choose to follow that team's mindset.
❓ Can I play in more than one team?
TLDR: You main must not get saved with another team if it may be needed by your team.
We discourage players being a member of more than one team, but since we are the same guild, it is welcomed to make bonds in other teams also through raiding with them - so long it does not damage your main team.
❓ How to switch a team?
Talk to the guild master to resolve your personal case.
❓ May I just see how your raids go before I decide to join?
For that purpose we have a trial period.
You can join our raids for the trial period time during which we will observe your performance and attitude and during which you will find out if the team suits you.
You can also tune to our streams during raid or see records of previous raids. If there are no current streams, you can ask an officer to arrange one for you.
Casual Raids
❓What to expect from a casual raid?
Chill environment
Casual raids are aimed at creating a chilled raiding environment for our casual members who cannot dedicate to more serious raiding and would like to have more social interaction during the raids, as well as main raiders who want to practice their awareness of the encounters or gear up their alts.
Wipes
Casual raids are not meant for quick flawless clear. When joining casual raids, please bring patience for other people to do their mistakes, and opportunity to learn. ✋ Do not attend casual raid if you are looking for one-shot clear and anything else will frustrate you.
Learn and improve
Despite the laid-back approach to casual raids, we still require from attendants the intention and will to learn and improve from pull to pull. You will be given a good chance to learn the fight.
Free schedule
You can join whenever you have time. There is no attendance requirement. You do not have to be there every week or join at exact hour. Being late is FINE! You are also welcome to leave at any moment you wish.
No loot reserved
The loot is not reserved for raiders. Everyone has and equal chance for loot. We are using personal or greed-need roll system: whichever is available. We are accounting for everyone participating in rolls to be honest. Any obvious abuse of greed/need will be reacted to by raid leaders.
❓ What are requirements for casual raids?
Patience
Do not expect a flawless clear. This raid is an environment for anyone in the guild including social members. Players joining may not be experienced in raiding, with their class, or game in general. Wipes will happen and it may take some time for the team in general to figure it out.
Appropriate gear
You do not need to learn tactics from external sources - we will guide you on what you need to know about the tactics but your gear should match the difficulty. Usually we announce the guidelines for gear in casual raid for every season.
Contribution
You cannot be idle, stay at the door or on the floor waiting for bosses to die. Depending on group size we may be able to carry one-two-three players, but only for so long. At some point if you are not contributing your part you may be asked to stay out.
Have fun
We do not want grumpy people around us while we are trying to have fun. If you are not in mood, please stay out, and come again when your presence will not disturb anyone.
Be conscious
We do not judge our members consumption habits so long they do not disturb other players gaming experience. If you are coming to raid intoxicated make sure to behave.
Journey Team
❓ What to expect from a Journey Team raid?
🔹 Our raiders are prepared and know the fights before entering the raid.
🔹 The raid is paced and focused.
🔹 There are no lengthy discussions about reasons for fails as long as reasons are understood by everyone.
🔹 Swift recovery between wipes.
🔹 The trash between bosses is the time when voice channel is open for free chat: reflecting, loot and banter.
🔹 During the boss fights the voice channel is reserved to the raid leader; raiders only communicate the information related to one's role.
🔹 Our raiders are present in the raid 100% of time: no random AFKs, back from break on time. Absent players are removed from raid without hesitation.
🔹 All raid leader final decisions are accepted without further discussion.
❓ Will I have guaranteed spot in the raid if I have 100% attendance?
Absolutely not.
With an attendance requirement of 80% we found a team size of 25-27 players most comfortable for us.
With that size of a team during the raids with fixed group size, and when everyone shows up, we need to leave someone out and/or rotate players during the raid to give everyone similar experience on the fights and eventual kills.
This choice has allowed us to keep raids going, without having to cancel due lack of numbers, while allowing our raiders to also live their real life.
❓ May I bring another character to progression raid?
Most of time - no!
Typically we do not want our players switching their main character during season as much as it is possible. We want to get maximum of raid-unique gear drops: we do not want rare trinkets we give to our raiders go offline; or change our group composition more often than it is necessary and having to find the missing roles/classes.
Please consider playing your main character until the end of season, and switch when team-leaders announce such an opportunity at the end of the season.
❓I do not want to play this class anymore, can I switch to another character?
At the end of the season
You will have a chance to change main character at the end of the season and to get used to it before the season starts. At the end of the season we usually post a survey to learn about the changes in the roster.
Mid-season
If for some reason you still absolutely need to switch your main character for the progression raid mid-tier, talk to an officer to find out if the switch is possible. Officer will consider the current situation and will let you know if it will be possible to take in your other character. For that many factors will be taken into consideration:
🔹Is there replacement if the abandoned main character's class/role is important for the raid?
🔹Is there opened spot for the new character?
🔹Is character geared for the progression content?
🔹Is the player as skillful and knowledgeable of the class/role they swap to as with their main.
Even after approving your switch you still may be asked to play on your old character for at least 2 weeks while we are looking for a possibly needed replacement.
As a result, the swapped-out character's spot may be opened up for recruiting, and the new character will be given a trial with a possibility to fail.
Thus, the raider swapping the main during tier has a chance to also lose the raid spot.
❓ Is raider rank permanent?
Raiders may get demoted if they fail to meet the team's raider requirements.
If you stop raiding with the team you will lose your rank and will have to go through the trial period again.
