⠀⠀About
This is a new team in the guild. It has no history as a team prior Midnight Season 2, where it begins it's journey. The raid leader is Beygir who is also the guild master. He is a veteran WoW player with previous CE raiding and raid-leading experience.
⠀⠀Discipline
We expect all our raiders to follow the raider requirements. Anyone who begins to fall short on those will get a warning, and will have a chance to redeem.
If a raider will strive away from raider requirements, they may get demoted to trial with a standard trial period, and then if still cannot keep up will be removed from the team.
Any violations of guild's social rules, depending on the severity may cause an immediate demotion.
⠀⠀Trial
Our typical trial lasts 14 days, or 4 attended raids. During this time we will assess your reliability, attitude and personal growth which are defined by:
🔹you understanding the team's routine and aspirations, not igniting conflicts, and your ability to communicate in respectful and reasonable manner;
🔹you always letting us know about your commitment for the upcoming events, planning your attendance ahead, and always notifying us if you cannot make it;
🔹you showing consistent growth if lagging behind: we do not require big parses, but while there is a room for improvement, we would like to see that you are using this opportunity to get better not only on the output, but also on mechanics.
During the trial period you have a lower priority on raid loot, but still have a chance to receive it, if it is passed by raiders.
⠀⠀Signups and Attendance
Signups
We are using the signup system on our website. You can signup from website's dashboard at any time, also on your phone.
The raids are planned 2 weeks ahead so you have plenty of time to let us know about your plans.
We have an auto-signup option: all upcoming raids will sign you up as attending, but it does not relieve you from the responsibility to change your signup when you cannot make the raids.
Raiders who failed to signup in time will be considered declined and will not count toward upcoming raid's roster.
Vacation
Vacations are allowed, so long attendance remains above expected threshold. The current attendance standing can be seen on Dashboard.
Emergencies
As a rule of thumb, any attendance changes after the roster is posted is considered an emergency, are unwanted and will damage your reliability reputation if frequent. We are planning ahead, and would like not to spend too much time on re-planning when someone changes their mind last moment as much as possible. We expect from our players to respect the effort we put into preparing raids it by signing up in time.
If you need to change your attendance after rosters were posted, please also make sure to notify us via dedicated #absence-and-attendance-jc discord channel, because without your notification we may not be able to notice the editing, and will not be able to adjust our plans.
⠀⠀Loot
No loot drama
We are trying to distinct ourselves from loot drama as much as possible, while allowing the players to decide what gear they need for better output and not limiting them to commonly accepted by WoW community choices and recommendation, while also having a mechanism to prevent loot hoarding.
What to roll
🔹Bis: if you will not replace this item other than with higher track.
🔹Major: This item will only be replaced with Bis
🔹Minor: Will be replaced with anything better
🔹Offspec, Transmog - self explanatory
Priorities
To achieve that we will be using a score system. Your each roll selection will have a score attached to it, the higher the roll (Bis/Major/Minor) the higher the score. The final number will be the average of all rewards you received. The player with lowest score (and highest roll if score is identical) will always receive the item.
Rank priority: Raider > Trial > Other
Need Priority: Bis > Major > Minor > Offspec > Transmog
Rank priority > Need Priority
BoE
Half of BoE's dropped in raid are reserved for guild bank. It should be traded to raid leader and the player will have refund 50% on its Auction House price after it will get sold. Anyone in the raid can buy the item for its full price. The player who dropped it can keep it by paying half of its Auction House price.
⠀⠀Consumables and repairs
The team will provide feasts, flask and potion cauldrons so long our crafters can produce them and the guild bank can afford them. In all other cases all raiders should use their own consumables.
Repairs are not covered by guild bank.
⠀⠀Raid times
20.00 ST is the time when raid starts, and when we should have everyone inside the instance, buffed and prepared to pull the boss. Invites will start ~19.45-19.50 ST.
The raids last until 23.00ST. Last pulls of the night may overlap the exact time stamp and raids may extend a few minutes. Everyone is expected to stay until the raid is called by raid leader.

⠀⠀Goals and Aspirations
We aspire to turn our WoW raids into a dedicated hobby: deposit time and commitment to enjoy the journey and result, master tactics, remove obstacles instead of players. Attendance, attitude, and mechanical attention are required; big-duck parses are not.
⠀⠀Continuality and Breaks
As long as our goal is to raid, that's what we will be trying to achieve. Our raids will continue throughout the season. Normally we will take a break at the end of season to regroup, review and update. The break at the end of season will usually precede the next season by 2-3 weeks.
We may have a break for seasonal events if they affect majority of players, such as X-mas holiday. Those breaks however will be announced when the season will approach.
When joining us, please keep this mind: we gravitate towards players who have same aspirations and do not have a tendency to abandon raiding mid-season.
⠀⠀Content
While looking forward to tackle mythic bosses, we value community above content and progression. If we are unable to get enough players for a mythic raid, we still prefer to still spend time together doing something else instead of canceling the raid. We may do a heroic, another raid, have an achievement or a mount run, anything else the game can offer us at the time: regardless of content we go for, the real value is an evening spend together with friends playing the game we like.
This approach keeps us bound and fuels the habit of gathering together next time, as well as confidence for the next time to come.
During all raids, regardless the content your attendance is accounted for, unless the event is explicitly announced as optional attendance
Raider Requirements and Expectations
⠀⠀Signups
🔹 All raiders should sign up for all of the upcoming week's raids.
🔹 In case you don’t know whether you will be able to attend raid, you need to signup as tentative with a note attached to your signup.
🔹 In case you cannot attend raid, you should set your status as declined.
🔹 If your status changes after the roster was published, let us know through the #absence-and-attendance-jc discord channel
⠀⠀Consumables
Each raider should have enough consumables to last them through the entire raid, regardless of whether cauldrons and feasts are being provided. Pots may not be needed on every pull, but you should have enough to last you through the whole raid. The raid leader will let you know when they will be needed.
Consumables Checklist
Mandatory:
🔹 Buff food of best quality
🔹 Phial/Flask of appropriate stats and best quality
🔹 Healing potions (separate CD from combat and mana potions)
🔹 Combat ( for dps role) or Mana (for healers) potions
🔹 Weapon consumables (oils/stones/runes)
On callout:
🔹 Vantus runes
🔹 Augment runes
⠀⠀Gear
🔹 You are expected to show up to raid with appropriate gear, fully enchanted, gemmed, and embellished.
🔹 You are responsible for increasing your item level outside progression raids
🔹 You are expected to keep up with spark/crest acquisition and crafted gear (especially the embellishments)
⠀⠀Addons
For more efficient raid management, and your personal and overall raid performance we expect you to have following addons installed:
🔹 RCLootCouncil - for loot distribution
🔹 Northern Sky Raid Tools - for dynamic raid notes
🔹 Buff Reminders or similar - for quick raid rebuff
⠀⠀Attendance and Breaks
🔹You should be online, stocked up, enchanted, and parked at the dungeon by the time invites start - regardless of whether you are included in the night's roster or benched.
🔹When benched you should be in reach during the entire raid.
🔹At raid start time you should be inside the instance, and buffed.
🔹You are expected not to go random AFK. The raid has at least one break, depending on the flow of the raid and is set by raid-leader, when you will have time to sort your needs.
🔹You should be back at your keyboard when the break time is over.
🔹You are expected to stay for the whole length of the raid until it is called.
🔹You are expected to attend mandatory raids regardless of the content and difficulty planned by raid leaders, unless the attendance is explicitly stated as not mandatory.
🔹You are expected to show an average of 80% attendance.
🔹You are expected to not be locked on a raid instance prior to your team's raid days.
⠀⠀Communication
🔹 During the raid you should be present in the discord raid channel, and be able to clearly hear the raid leaders.
🔹 If you are not using push-to-talk, make sure to configure your voice activation settings to not produce background noise in the voice channel.
🔹 You should be able to respond to raid leaders via voice communication or in the raid chat.
🔹 All social interactions should stop on ready check.
🔹 You should keep comms clear during fights, and only communicate the information related to your own responsibilities.
🔹 The callouts should be left to raid leaders and assisting officers to maintain clear lead of the fight.
🔹 Raider's discord name must include their main character's name or at least reminiscent of it. If player is a member of more than one team, the name should include all main raiding characters' names. Raid leader needs to know how to reach out to you for immediate response.
🔹 Keep anything that will interfere with raid's pace until after the raid. Suggestions are welcome during the raids, but they should not mutate into lengthy discussions.
⠀⠀Benching
🔹 You may be asked to sit out for one attempt, more attempts or the rest of the raid for different reasons, including raid composition, so remain calm.
🔹 While benched, you are expected to still be reachable. Stay online in the game, or on an alt known to raid leaders or/and in discord or BattleNet reach.
⠀⠀Tactics & Self-improvement
🔹 You are expected to know main fight mechanics of the approached boss encounter and how to counter them.
🔹 You are expected to be familiar with left and right directions.
🔹 You are expected to be familiar with clockwise and counter-clockwise directions.
🔹 You are expected to keep a track of your performance and improve as needed, and reduce tactical mistakes.
🔹 If you think you have a room for improvement, but don't know how to approach it, you are expected to contact an officer or raid leader for help.
⠀⠀Funding
We expect you to be able to afford repairs, consumables and eventual gear crafts.
